The workshop on “Network of Knowledge on Biodiversity: a contribution from Europe” will contribute to the discussion on science-policy interfaces on biodiversity and ecosystem services.
The workshop is convened by the European Platform for Biodiversity Research Strategy (EPBRS) and Biostrat and co-organized by the European Environmental Agency (EEA), the Flemish Community (Research Institute for Nature and Forest) and the Belgian Biodiversity Platform. It will take place on the 6th of May 2009 in Brussels. It will bring together representatives of relevant European institutions and networks involved in the governance of biodiversity, to discuss the concept of a European contribution to a network of knowledge on biodiversity.
