The second European Consortium for the Barcoding of Life will take place at the University of Minho.

The online registration and abstract submission for ECBOL2 is now available at http://ecbol2.bio.uminho.pt/Registration.html.

Please note that the conference is open to participants from any country, not only Europe. Contributions can be made in the form of oral presentations and/or posters. We can only accommodate a maximum of 200 participants.

In our website we provide a list of hotels and prices for conference participants. Hotel reservations should be made through the conference travel agency TAGUS (check the website for details). Although the hotel list is not complete yet, we advise conference delegates to make hotel reservations as soon as possible to assure accommodation.

We are very pleased to announce that the ECBOL2 opening keynote on “The Global Status of Biodiversity” will be presented by the distinguished Professor Stuart Pimm (Duke University, NC, USA)

We sincerely hope that you will join us in making ECBOL2 a success. We look forward to welcome you in Braga.
