The Scientific Advisory Council serves EDIT's outside reference point. It is made up of external scientists, stakeholders, and users, from European and other key institutions and agencies (EEA, ETC-NPB etc.), from scientific initiatives (EU-supported Networks of Excellence and other initiatives such as Bionet-International), and from the private sector.
